Passport

Please make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. If yours is due to expire soon, we'd recommend renewing it well in advance — processing times can vary.

VISA

Many nationalities receive a free visa on arrival for stays up to 30 days in Indonesia, while others may need to apply in advance. We recommend checking the requirements for your country at the official Indonesian immigration website or with your local embassy before booking.

We recommend applying online in advance using the Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) here — it's faster, lets you skip the airport queue, and gives you peace of mind before you travel.

The visa costs IDR 500,000 (approx. USD $28) and is valid for 30 days. There is also a mandatory Bali tourist levy of IDR 150,000 (approx. USD $9), making the total entry cost around IDR 650,000 (approx. USD $37).

If you'd rather sort it on arrival, you can purchase your visa at the designated counters in the arrival hall at the airport — just be prepared for potential queues, and have a valid credit card or cash in EUR, USD, AUD, or GBP.

airport

You will be flying into Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Denpasar, which has direct and connecting flights from most major cities around the world. We recommend booking your flights early, especially if you'd like to arrive a few days before the celebration.

transport

Once you land, taxis, private drivers, and ride-sharing apps like Grab are all easy ways to get around. We recommend arranging a private driver for the most comfortable experience.

insurance

Though not required, consider taking out comprehensive travel insurance before your trip. Look for a policy that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, and lost luggage.

weather

September is one of the most beautiful times to be in Bali — warm and sunny with low humidity and light breezes. Expect temperatures around 27–30°C, with pleasantly cooler evenings.
Lightweight fabrics and comfortable footwear are highly recommended. Our dress codes have been chosen to complement both the tropical setting and venue, helping you stay comfortable while celebrating with us.

bali tips and tricks

1. Drink only bottled water or filtered water provided by your accommodation. Tap water is not safe to drink in Indonesia.

2. Before you arrive, you can purchase an eSIM or a roaming plan for internet connectivity. Alternatively, you can purchase a local SIM card at the airport. Under Indonesian law, all SIM cards must be registered to the user. The SIM card provider can asisst with your IMEI registration.

  1. WiFi is available in all hotels and restaurants.

easy & safe ways to move around bali

1. Blue Bird taxis
You can download the Blue Bird app on your phone and book a ride.
We do not recommend other taxi brands.

2. Grab / Gojek rideshare
Similar to Uber, you can download the apps on your phone to book a ride as well as order food deliveries. When ordering food or items to your hotel, please check where the drop off / pick up points are with your accommodation.

3. Private drivers / Car rental
You can also find private drivers for your entire trip.
If you’re feeling adventurous or prefer to drive yourself, there are plenty of car rentals in Bali. Do check the driving license requirements. Be cautious when navigating Bali’s small roads and watch out for motorcycles around you.

Note: Plan for traffic. Check Google Maps for the most accurate traffic conditions.

get to know the island

Bali is a diverse island with distinct areas, each offering a unique vibe. Choosing the perfect spot depends on what you are looking for—whether it is high-energy nightlife, lush nature and wellness, laid-back beach towns, or remote, quiet escapes.

1. Seminyak (where our venue is)
Upscale, dining, and nightlife. Seminyak is a stylish area packed with high-end dining, chic cocktail bars, and upscale beach clubs. It provides an active beach scene without being as chaotic as its southern neighbors.

2. Canggu
The area is popular with digital nomads and hipster travelers who want to be near Seminyak but still enjoy some peace. Canggu is also the best place to explore endless experiences, such as learning to surf, taking yoga classes, or simply enjoying stunning views of the rice fields.
However because of its densely packed streets, the area is known to have heavy traffic during high-seasons.

3. Kuta & Legian
Party, shopping, and budget-friendly. The original tourist hubs of Bali are bustling, loud, and energetic. Packed with surf schools, street vendors, and vibrant nightlife, they are great for socializing and budget travelers.

4. Uluwatu
Surfing, luxury, and dramatic cliffs. Located on the southern Bukit Peninsula, it is famous for its stunning limestone cliffs, secret white-sand beaches, and world-class surf breaks. The vibe is upscale, relaxed, and visually spectacular.

5. Nusa Dua
Resort-style and honeymooner. A gated community of 5-star mega-resorts, manicured gardens, and quiet, pristine beaches. Ideal for those who want a pampered, all-inclusive style vacation.

6. Ubud
Nature, culture, and wellness. Surrounded by lush jungles and iconic rice terraces, this is Bali's spiritual hub. It is filled with yoga studios, vegan cafes, temples, and art markets, making it ideal for those seeking relaxation and culture.

7. Sanur
Family-friendly, calm, and relaxed. A laid-back coastal town with gentle, shallow waters, a paved beach promenade, and a slower pace of life. It is highly favored by families and older travelers.
